Different Types Of Google Ads

There are 5 different types of advertisement Google Ads offer, which are as per below.

1. Search Ads

Search Ads is text ads that appear at the top in google search result & it’s a most effective and mostly used advertisement among all five advertisements because the click-through rate & conversion rate of search ads is very good. Because of that, it’s mostly used for acquiring new potential website visitors.

2. Display Ads

Display Ads Are banner ads that appear on google’s partner websites (a website that has installed Google Ad-sense on their websites), Youtube, Gmail & Google Play Store. The Click-through rate (CTR) of Display Ads is very low because of that It’s mostly used for branding or spreading product/brand awareness & increase the memorability of product/brand by keep showing display ads to any one particular user. And Display Ads also mostly used for re-marketing advertisement purpose because Display Ads are very effective when it comes to re-marketing user who has already visited your website, conversion rate of Display Ads is very good when used for Re-Marketing. Google Display Network is a very huge network comprises of millions of websites to show your ads on.

3. Video Ads

Video Ads appear on youtube before any video starts or during the video with the “Skip Ad” button at the bottom right side corner. Nowadays video ads are becoming very famous because of Youtube’s popularity. Around 40% to 50% of users watch a video about any product on youtube when they planning to buy that product, that’s why it’s a very big opportunity for businesses to divert the attention of all that user towards their product and increase their business sale.

4. Shopping Ads

Shopping ads are E-Commerce product ads that appear at the top in the Google search result, Image search result, and on the right side of Google Search Result. Google Shopping Ads is specially made for E-Commerce websites to display their product in Google Search Result because around 70% to 80% of the users search for a product in Google Search when they are planning to buy any product online, so it will increase the chance of click if any product that user is searching is listed at top of search result with image and a short description.

5. App Promotion/Install Ads

App ads are app promotion advertisements that appear in Google Play, Google Search Result & on Google Display Network (Network of websites that have installed Google Adsense). It’s specially made for an increasing number of App Installs & In-App Actions. It appears when users search for any app on Google Play or on Google Search.
